This is going to depend on your goals.
If you have a specific acute concern I suggest getting three treatments (a week or so apart) and then we can reassess.
If it's for general maintenance I suggest every 4-6 weeks.
This is going to vary person to person and depend on your lifestyle, your body, and the reason you are coming for massage. After we work together I can give you a much more personalized answer to this question.
30 MINS: A focused treatment, time for a specific issue or concern on 1-2 areas of the body. It goes by quick but is perfect for a day you wake up with acute pain and don't have time for a full treatment.
60 MINS: Gives us time to either do a general full body massage OR address your specific concerns and areas that need more time and a deeper treatment.
90 MINS: Time to do a full body massage AND address areas of concern. Choose this if you have some areas that need attention but you also want to make sure you get a full body massage!
*Please keep in mind that everyone is different and reacts differently to massage treatments, so this could vary. If you want a better suggestion, feel free to ask me after we've worked together and I can give you a more personalized answer.
I will always do my best to make sure you feel educated about cupping during our treatment, but just a reminder that the marks are NOT a bruise. A bruise is an indication of tissue damage and are painful to the touch, with cupping this is not the case.
Cupping creates a suction that allows for space in the layers of tissue beneath it and allows the blood vessels to open further, a mark left over indicates an area where blood flow was stagnant.
*I only offer dry cupping without the use of heat. The cups are plastic or silicone and I have a certificate in cupping massage*
I do not direct bill. I am registered in Manitoba, NOT in BC. Therefore I cannot guarantee any type of insurance coverage when it comes to my services.
